Moola Nakshatra (also spelled Mula) is the 19th Nakshatra in Vedic astrology. It spans from 0°00' to 13°20' in the Sagittarius zodiac sign. The word Moola translates to "root," symbolizing the foundation of life, the core of existence, or digging deep into the essence of things. This Nakshatra is often associated with the ability to destroy in order to rebuild, making it both intense and transformative in nature.

Moola starts the 3rd and the most difficult cycle of the nakshatras. Very often the nakshatras of this group ( from 19th to 27th) are associated with such categories as philosophy, the highest planes of existence in absolutely all aspects of life: interpersonal, social, artistic, cultural and so on.

Symbol of Mula nakshatra is root, which symbolises the core of the problem and also the depth.

This how the nakshatra acts - it either founds the center of the labyrinth or through sequence of events and analytics it founds the way out of the labyrinth.

Mula likes to work on a large scale - to work with large amount of information.

With greater scale comes a greater chance of discovering the true cause.

It enjoys uncovering hidden things and bringing them into the open.

Its central question is:

"Where is the root of the problem?"

Mula is equally effective in both discovering and eliminating that root.

For other people it may be hard to communicate with Mula, since it seems that this nakshatra goes into every little detail.( But in Mula's head this little detail can lead to very large-scale events)

On the other hand Mula can ignore some event, some insignificant detail, because she needs to put the whole puzzle together, to understand whole picture and thus she can't afford to get bogged down into trivial details.

Mula works well with large volumes of information. And she can hold simultaneously few strategies and analyse them or again on other hand dig into something hidden, but important, that is why Mula is called a sharp nakshatra.

Sharpness is necessary quality of her natural varna - the headsman. Mula acts like an executioner, removing whatever has outlived its purpose.

In small, routine matters, Mula often loses interest.

Mula reveals its full potential of the headsman in large-scale endeavors. Imagine an auditor of a large-scale corporation. It can gather tremendous amounts of information and, by analyzing it, uncover the underlying causes behind events: either this the corporation is collapsing or it should be bought.

If you give Mula a task but cannot explain why it should be done, while focusing only on small practical details, Mula will likely lose interest.

It needs to understand the bigger picture.

But if you set a task to Mula: for example, you can't choose between two of your boyfriends and supply Mula with decent amount of information, then she'll begin investigating.

Deity - Nirriti

However, Mula does not destroy for the sake of destruction. Rather it asks the question:

"Let us look what is beyond the horizon?"

That is why Mula is often disliked by orthodox sages, scientists etc.

Every global change ( and Moola likes to work only with globalism) leads to stress and tension and very often nobody likes to be responsible.

The nakshatras of the headsmen varna have the ability to make other people cry. But Mula makes cry only those who work with globalism.

Planet ruler is Ketu - the headless planet, which gives to Mula certain nihilism.

Nihilism is the philosophical view that life, values, or existence have no inherent or objective meaning, purpose, or value. The word comes from the Latin nihil, meaning "nothing."

There are several forms of nihilism:

1. Existential Nihilism

The belief that life has no intrinsic meaning or purpose.

2. Moral Nihilism

The belief that there are no objective moral truths.

3. Epistemological Nihilism

The skeptical view that true knowledge may be impossible.

4. Political Nihilism

Friedrich Nietzsche is often associated with nihilism, but he did not advocate it.

If the purpose of someone is not associated with "uncovering truth" in any form, then Mula may work against such a native. For exmample, Mula in the 3rd house will to scrutinize every word.

But on other hand Mula in the 3rd House is good position for psychologists, and Me in Mula in the 3rd House is good position for journalists.

Mula can have a tragedy if she can't put the puzzle into the whole. For example, a scientist that keep digging and digging.
